Hello once again! Avengers came out and it has become extremely popular world-wide! I actually watched it this week with my parents, sisters and my sister`s boyfriend. It was amazing! Though I had to finish this cake order, my mom had already bought the tickets so I had no choice but to go and I regret nothing! I loved the movie, it was funny, a lot of action and gorgeous cast! I want to watch it again… *sigh.

But anyways! On with the cake, the person that order from me is an old friend of mine from high school, McEarl and he wanted to buy a cake for a party celebrating his birthday and another friend of mine, Daryl. At first they wanted anime theme cake but I couldn`t do it because the characters they chose was kind of hard for me to put on a cake so I messaged McEarl and asked him if there was anything else he and Daryl likes aside from Prince of Tennis and after discussing it with Daryl, they finally decided on Avengers cake which I was happy to make since I saw a lot online, lol. 

I wasn`t entirely sure what design I was going to do but I saw a lot of great designs and in the end I ended up with the picture above. Since it was a double birthday, I made a two tier and this is your typical chocolate cake and no special filling, just swiss meringue buttercream. One tier was for McEarl which was Thor and the other was Daryl, which was  the Hulk. I made Thor`s Hammer and Hulk`s Fist and they were both made out of rice krispies and it was the first time I used it. The design for Hulk is a brick wall where Hulk`s fist could be seen punching through it and It didn`t turn out as well, but Daryl liked it. The design for Thor is a rock and his hammer smashed on it. It`s a simple design and I enjoyed the heck out of this cake :)
