Take Hello Kitty and Avengers, put them together and you get Hello Kitty Avengers! 

So after seeing the Avengers cake I previously made, a friend of mine message me about ordering a cake for his little sister and of course, I can’t turn it down since I don’t have a job…yet. lol. But anyways, so we got to talking and he said his sister likes both Hello Kitty and the movie Avengers so I immediately searched google for a hello kitty avengers and I found the perfect design…well, it was from a phone case but yeah, I knew what I was going to do. I met up with him the next day and explained about the design and he liked it so I was glad. 

The cake flavor was sort of different, it has three layers inside, vanilla cake with a thin layer of strawberry in the middle and just simple buttercream as a filling. I masked everything and since I baked 9 cakes (I have two cake orders this weekend) I had to do this one first because it was going to get picked up on Saturday (today) and the other one was going to get picked up the next day. 

After masking and covering the cake, I made the Hello Kitty first and I made it out of rice krispies. I’m seriously getting addicted in making things out of it and since I didn’t have modelling chocolate, rice krispies was my only option :) After that, I covered the side of the cake with different building from NYC, though I don’t think they look anything like it. LOL. I had planned on putting the statue of liberty on the side too but I thought I should just make a sculpted version of it on the cake board, I put a road around the cake board and then used royal icing, tinted in blue, as water. The big gap in the front, I was going to put the statue of liberty on the water but I ended up not doing it. 

Overall that, like I always say about my other cake orders, I had fun making them. Especially the Hello Kitty Avengers (my favorite one is Ironman and Hulk) and I hope they’ll like it :)
