Surprise, surprise I’m going to be making a cake once again. So I’ll be honest, I didn’t know it was my uncle’s birthday until my mom told me to make a cake for him on Sunday but yeah, here it is! 

The cake has two different layer, one chocolate and one vanilla and it just had simple buttercream in the middle, nothing special since I lot of the people that ordered from me likes chocolate, it’s nothing special anymore.

So since he was turning 50 this year, I didn’t exactly know what kind of design I should do so I searched online to look for a perfect one but I couldn’t really find one. Then I though, my mom did the “Over the Hill” cake for my dad when he turned 40 and I thought I should put that since my uncle is turning 50! I had baked the cake and everything, covered it with black fondant and wrote “Over the Hill” on the cake. Then I thought I should put vines around it to make it seem like it’s a grave with vines all over it and it was turning out nice until my mom said the “Over the Hill” was only for people that turns 40 SO I had to scrape off the writing and replace it with “Happy Birthday Tito Ronnie”. It turned out okay, so I’m glad. 

The party was great though a bit awkward since it was only my mom’s cousins that came over because my uncle wanted to have a party with his cousins and then have another party for his friends, I forget the reason why but yeah. I don’t think I’ll be baking a cake for the party with his friends so oh well. It was fun making this and it was enough.
