The two previous cakes were finally picked up and out of my hands! Finally! And just when I thought my cake decorating time will be on hold until the next order, my mom tells me that one of her friend, Tita (Aunt) Mel orders a cake for her husband and two daughters and I need to get it done before tomorrow. It is 12:15am here and I just finished the cake. 

Like I said before, I get my cake ideas from websites. This design was shown to me by a friend of mine from facebook, she tagged me saying that I might be interested in this kind of design and I was! This design is brilliant! I’ve been wanting to do this for a while and today was the day. :) 

The cake is (of course) chocolate and no special filling. Before I masked the whole cake, I cut up a large piece and set it aside, masking them separately. Then I worked on them one by one, masking then covering it with fondant. I had a bit of trouble putting on the chocolate topping design because… well, it was hard, (TWSS LOL). Especially the inside cake design of it but it all worked out. I think it turned out great, I am pretty proud of this one! 

This week has been crazy, two cakes due on the same day + 50 cupcakes and one last minute cake order I did in a day, earned a lot so I’m not gonna lie, it was worth it. I think I did pretty well this week, hopefully I get to relax next week… oh, nope never mind there might be a slight chance I have to do my Tito (Uncle)’s 50th birthday cake… sigh. Walang pahinga! LOL
